Snow Day for Kids but Just Another Shoveling Day for Me

After shoveling 12 inches of snow off the driveway, the county snow plow came by and threw about six inches of it back onto the approach.  I re-shoveled and then set out the garbage cans. The morning newspaper wasn't delivered until nearly 10 a.m.  Now we are told it will snow more today...and tomorrow...and the next day.  How many days until spring?
Missoula public schools first said they would delay opening for two hours but then just cancelled classes for the day. Kids LOVE a Snow Day!  But what if the kids aren't old enough to stay home alone? Then working parents have to decide who stays home with them.
